Tidung Island Began Conducting Swab Tests

This continues from the previous test, where there are 30 people who take the swab tests today

The Tidung island Urban Village cooperates with the South Thousand Islands Sub-district Puskesmas to conduct swab tests for residents on Tidung Island Sports Hall (GOR)'s yard, on Wednesday (4/22).

It is for those who have a history of travel in the red zone, have symptoms similar to coronavirus and who have never taken a test before.

"This continues from the previous test, where there are 30 people who take the swab tests today," expressed Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah.

Besides slowing the virus spread, it also aims to anticipate quickly if there are findings in an area, including preventative and treatment measures.

"To do this test, we bring 10 medical workers," he explained.

If there are residents who are exposed, he added, an isolation location has been prepared at SMKN 61 and MTsN 26.

"Hopefully the results are negative," he concluded.
